Known for his evocative scores (Amélie, Good Bye Lenin!) and his uncompromising artistic vision, Tiersen continues to challenge conventions - both musical and societal.

The performance reflects his ongoing exploration of connection, nature, and resistance. Rathlin from a Distance offers introspective piano meditations inspired by his solitary sea voyages, each piece a quiet map to the self. Its companion, The Liquid Hour, bursts with pulsing electronics and raw, transformative energy - an urgent, hopeful response to a world in flux.
