Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker is based on the story 'The Nutcracker and the Mouse King' by E.T.A. Hoffman. A magical adventure story about dolls coming to life, and battles between the Mouse King and the Nutcracker Prince. The Nutcracker is set in a snow filled kingdom of colourful magic and features the fantastic Divertissement include Waltz of Flowers and Dance of Sugar Plum Fairy.

Performers to include Guest Principal Dancers and Pre-professional students as well as young students of the school.
