Specialist Tour : The South Faade

This tour will commence at the easternmost end of the cathedral and, whilst we proceed westwards, the stunning Norman and Gothic architecture of the exterior will be described.

The tour visits the cloister and from here the facts regarding the strikingly beautiful architectural features of the tower, spire and south prospect of the nave will be revealed.

If you like quirky and curious tales mixed in with historical facts - this tour is the tour for you!

If you have binoculars, please bring them with you as this may help with viewing details of the architecture.

The tour will last for 90 minutes and will be adapted to cope satisfactorily with wet weather.
