Headline (TBC)
Jordi Fox:
At 15 years old, Jordi Fox never imagined that borrowing his friends guitar would change his life forever. In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, with the world on pause, Jordi borrowed a guitar from a friend and never gave it back. What started as a temporary distraction during lockdown quickly turned into a passion that would ignite his music career. With no prior experience, Jordi taught himself to play and write songs, drawing early inspiration from Elton John records. At 15 he dropped out of school declaring to his teachers that he would become the next Elton John!
Hailing from the Scottish Borders, a place far removed from the glitz and glamour of the music industry, Jordis rise has been a testament to perseverance and passion. While he hasnt yet become the international superstar he once envisioned, he has carved out a space for himself in the music world, steadily building a reputation for his unique voice and songwriting abilities.
His new single "Studio 54", a 70s disco-inspired track, that reflects his newfound passion for writing upbeat, funky dance music inspired by his favourite artists such as, The Bee Gees, George Michael, and Michael Jackson! The single marks a bold departure from the stripped-back acoustic ballads Jordi has previously written, embracing a lively, feel-good sound perfect for the dance floor!
The Blame:
An Energetic Indie Rock group from the North East of England. James and Jonathan, who previously fronted Leatherette, excel in creating a freshly presented songwriting partnership for this new Project.
With influences from bands such as The Strokes, Fontaines D.C., New Order and many other acts throughout the decades there is a treat for everyone in The Blame.
With their Debut singles of Modern Limitations, American Ways and beginning piece Deserted comes an amazing taste of what the band have to offer to the 21st Century.
Ace & All The Other Animals:
Ace blends raw lyricism with a warm, stripped-back sound that sticks with you. Think storytelling in the spirit of Elliott Smith or Joni Mitchell, with a voice of their own. Able to play acoustic sets or with a much bigger sound in a band of up to six known as the other animals, their sound has scope but always comes back to the strong lead vocal.
At just 18, they've already been on two Scotland tours and have sold out venues such as Mash house in Edinburgh and King Tuts in Glasgow.
Music capable of capturing all ages ears with such relatable yet impactful lyricism, theyre always worth a listen.
