Her previous visits to Liverpool have been sensational, and now she returns with a brand-new, bespoke showcase by the spectacularly imaginative British-Bulgarian composer, Dobrinka Tabakova. Andris Poga’s welcome return begins with Prokofiev’s cheeky musical fairytale and ends with the bittersweet beauty of Rachmaninov’s Third Symphony – a song of exile by a master of melody. This will be a treat.
