Fife Flyers 1985 British Championship 40Th Anniversary Event

It was 40 years ago on 5th May 1985 that the Fife Flyers ice hockey team were crowned British Champions at Wembley Arena in London. That triumph created the ‘Plumb Line’ – a historic team, led by player coach Ron Plumb and fellow Canadians Dave Stoyanovich and Danny Brown who were backed by a host of outstanding local players, widely regarded to this day as one of the most exciting ever teams seen at Fife Ice Arena. Now, the players who skated to victory are set to be reunited as part of a major celebration planned for May 2025, exactly four decades later. Join the players at the Rothes Halls for a live stage show that is sure to be packed with memories of that never to be forgotten season. It will be a unique chance for fans who were there to relive one of the greatest weekends of following Flyers and introduce a classic team which packed the rink on game nights to a new generation of supporters.? All profits from the anniversary events are going to CHAS, the Fife Flyers’ adopted charity, and Maggie’s Fife Cancer Care Centre in Kirkcaldy.
