Extinct Objects - Ecological Performance for Children

Extinct Objects is an interactive theatre performance for children, presented for the first time in the United Kingdom by Cultural Centre Talas (Serbia).

The performance connects seemingly distant worlds: the extinction of dinosaurs, the emergence of plastic, and the disappearance of everyday objects we once loved. Through playful use of analogue devices such as an overhead projector, slide projector, and cassette player, objects that were once common but are now forgotten come back to life on stage.

These “extinct” objects become characters, storytellers, and stage partners, inviting the audience into a space of memory, imagination, and new possibilities. By returning to a time when things were repaired, cherished, and reused, the performance raises gentle but important questions about consumerism, memory, and our relationship with the environment.

While created for children, Extinct Objects is also dedicated to adults and everyone who has ever had an object that mattered to them.

This UK premiere will be performed in English and is suitable for children and families.
