Caravan Of Love

Caravan of Love is a collection of four stories set in a caravan in Scarborough played between two characters at a time.

These “couples” never meet, though their stories are connected in one way or another. The show is in two acts, with two stories in each act.

This is a jukebox musical, with brand new arrangements of popular songs woven into the stories, making it a very unique experience!

Jenny and Babs have been friends for, well, forever. As with many long-term friendships, they have grown apart but still keep in touch and love each other dearly. They haven’t seen each other in person for 6 years.
Finding themselves single and, maybe ready to mingle, they have arranged a holiday at Jenny’s caravan in Scarbados to let their hair down and hopefully meet their Prince Charming.

Sash and Felix are best mates and used to party hard together in the 90’s rave scene. Too hard some might say. Their lives have taken very different paths but they still get on like a house on fire.
The “boys” have booked a “luxurious” 90’s weekender at a resort in Scarborough to relive their glory days and, you know, “What happens in Scarborough, stays in Scarborough”. Will this weekend be all it’s cracked up to be?

Martin and Betty have been the magicians and entertainers on the caravan park for many years, staying in the same caravan, but the cracks are beginning to show in their relationship and Betty is sick of having to deal with feral kids and their parents in the audiences. She wants to get a different act, while having to deal with her conscience and a deep secret.
Martin is happy as the magician but hides a lot of his feelings in his wicked sense of humour and usually Betty takes the brunt of the jokes. Martin is also holding something in, and maybe Betty's secret will be the catalyst for him to reveal all.

Sam and Phoebe have booked the caravan as a last-chance saloon attempt to keep their marriage, which is stretched to breaking point with Phoebe's drinking, which she tries - unsuccessfully - to hide.
Sam is working late each night and finding excuses not to be home. Neither of them are happy, but Phobe still wants to make it work. She has noticed that Sam is getting distant now, but Phoebe has her own little secret which could break the relationship totally.
