With five green bug hats peeking above the stage, Bug Teeth conjure a world just beyond reach. Oneiric, spellbinding, and insistent, harsh guitars and skittering drum and bass rhythms break through hazy ambient dreamscapes. Born from a DIY spirit, Bug Teeth began as the electronic bedroom project of front-person PJ Johnson, who self-produced spectral melodies. From these delicate, lo-fi beginnings emerged a raw, celestial sound, drawing listeners into its unique gravity. Over time, the project grew into a full band. Bug Teeth’s live performances are both fragile and ferocious, a hypnotic push and pull between distortion and stillness.

Their music bends genre, pulling influences from dream pop, electronic ambience, and breakbeat to craft something that feels both weightless and deeply grounded. Their latest single, Landscaping, expanded their sonic world further, balancing beauty with abrasive grief.
