For three years, our shows ‘Blackstage’, ‘Rebellion’, ‘Community’, ‘Audacity’, and ‘0121’ have blown minds and amplified pole dancers of colour, turning the stage into a weapon of rebellion and a home for community and audacious self-expression. This year we rise with Reclamation. Our lands, our people, our art have been stolen. We’ve been displaced, erased, and forced to conform. Sex workers and Trans★ lives are under relentless attack. Enough. We reclaim our bodies, our art, our spaces. What is ours has always been ours and it WILL be reclaimed.

An ensemble of extraordinary pole artists showcase their unique voices through movement, each performance a fresh creation. Be ready to immerse yourself in a whirlwind of artistry, intrigue, and wonder.

Since 2020, Blackstage Pole has existed to disrupt an industry that erases, excludes, and discriminates against marginalised polers. We platform the brilliance of BIPOC dancers, especially those who are LGBTQIA+, disabled, plus-sized, or sex workers, and we do it on our terms. No one else elevates pole dance through theatre at this scale, with this excellence, and this unapologetic commitment to justice.
