The Bar is full of character with wooden beamed ceilings, roaring log fire and cosy crannies – a ‘traditional’ friendly pub. There are different spaces for you to choose from; a bar stool or a comfortable sofa and several secret nooks for families, friends, dogs and their owners to enjoy their own ‘private’ pub experience. We’re open to welcome you for morning coffee, relaxed lunch, evening meal or a drink with friends.

The Cumbrian Suite is situated on the ground floor and is suitable for private dining, meetings, funerals, birthdays, christenings

The Westmorland Suite is situated on the first floor and is suitable for conferences & meetings.
The adjoining Hayloft & Westmorland Suites are situated on the ground floor and are suitable for funerals, birthdays, christenings and private dining.

Menus, music, flowers, decorations and themes can all be determined by you.We have two banqueting suites located on the first floor with views across Westmorland and Lancaster Canal. The Hayloft offers a vaulted ceiling, with exposed beams and flooring built for dancing! whilst the adjoining Westmorland room is perfect for larger groups. Both can accommodate up to 60 guests, giving an overall capacity of 120 with an interconnecting welcome foyer.The Cumbrian Suite is a more intimate banqueting suite catering for 40 guests on the ground floor with a private entrance.
