Roker Hotel.

Long a landmark on the North East coastline, the Roker Hotel looks out over the sea from Sunderland, England, pairing a traditional feel with the comforts guests look for today. The view alone makes it worth lingering over a morning coffee.

Dinner is a choice of two very different restaurants, with the Tavistock Italia serving Italian cooking and the Tavistock Thai China bringing the flavours of the East, so there is plenty of variety without leaving the hotel. Roker and Seaburn beaches stretch out along the front for a bracing walk. Close by, Hadrian's Wall has marked the northern edge of the Roman Empire since around AD 122, a UNESCO World Heritage Site whose forts and turrets run coast to coast from the Tyne. Walk out to the end of Roker Pier and its red-and-white lighthouse on a breezy morning, then warm up with a coffee overlooking the sea.

Book your stay at the Roker Hotel, BW Premier Collection and enjoy everything the North East coast has to offer.
